Cognitive Psychology

Cognitive Psychology- In cognitive psychology this revolves into a notion that if we want to know what is going on with people and what makes them tick, then we need to understand the internal processes that goes through their minds.

Cognitive Strength- One strength of the cognitive approach is that it looks at the processes which were ignored, like memory, attention and perception; eye witness testimony may be unreliable.

Cognitive Weakness- The cognitive approach is that it is reductionist. For example it reduces human behavior down to individual processes such as memory and attention.
