Topology's

Star Topology- In a star topology all of the components of the network are hookup to the center device which this would be a switch or router. All remote sites connected to the central device with a cable all the workstations are connected to point-to-point connection. So it can be said that every computer is indirectly connected the central device like a spider

Multi-star-Topology- In a multi-star topology this is much the same as the star topology but with a little more complex. This is where you got the center device connects to remote locations and the remote locations have their own extension of the topology.

Ring Topology- Ring topology is a computer network configuration where the devices are connected to each other in a circular shape. Each packet is sent around the ring until reaches its final destination.

Bus-Topology-  A bus topology is a type of network setup where each computer and network device are connected to a single cable or backbone. Bus networks arer useful in small networks like these setup in a small offices and have the advantage of using less cable.
